Frueh reflects on healing oneself through healing the heart, offering her personal experiences of mending a fractured wrist and curing breast cancer. Known for exciting and unconventional insights and bold and elegant performances with minimalist staging and glamorous costumes, Frueh engagingly performs the text and interacts spontaneously with the audience. A book signing follows the performance. Kathleen Williamson is a veteran master artist. Her rich, diverse education and experience in the arts, law, and academia contribute to the searching philosophical framework and uplifting agenda of her songwriting and musical compositions. Williamson's music ranges from the topical to the poetic, from folk to jazz, blues, and art songs. Williamson composed the music score for Frueh's 2012 performance The Glamour of Being Real. Williamson's indie CDs garnered TAMMIES for Best CD and are available for purchase following the performance.
